Outpatient Mental Health Services include individual, family, or group therapy for children ages 1 to 21 years old and their families. We also provide evaluations as needed to determine if children would benefit from medications and medication management services.
Our therapists use a broad range of approaches including the following research-based approaches:
Cognitive Therapy (CT)
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children ages 2 to 7
Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

How can therapy help?
Children often have trouble talking about how they feel and expressing what’s bothering them. They aren’t always able to process what they have seen and heard. Therapy can help them and their caregivers deal better with troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviors. And, the child can learn ways to control behavior so they are more successful with relationships at home, school, and in other areas of their lives.
Sometimes medication may be needed to help with troubling behaviors. This can be discussed with the therapist, who can arrange for an evaluation with a psychiatrist. We provide medication management services in conjunction with therapy services only.
