Silver Springs Foster Family Care Services

Foster parents play a significant role in assisting a child and birth family when the child cannot reside in his or her own home. The heartfelt services provided by a foster family in a warm, loving, home environment to address a child's emotional, behavioral, medical, social, and developmental needs can be instrumental in helping the child to heal and flourish. Children participating in Foster Family Care may be infants with special needs, toddlers, youngsters, or young adults up to 21 years of age.

Silver Springs provides financial assistance, ongoing training and professional guidance and recognition for foster parents committed to meeting the medical, emotional, and behavioral needs of a child. Case management and outreach services are extended to each child's foster family and family of origin. Children are encouraged to participate in specialized summer experiences (camperships), for which we also seek support.
