Programs Through Silver Springs
Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS)

Silver Springs Mobile Therapy Services

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) provide comprehensive community-based assistance to children, up to age 21, with serious emotional or behavioral issues. The goal of the program is to help these children achieve resilience and stability.

Silver Springs works with children and their families in their homes, schools, and community settings. A child's specific services are determined by an evaluation conducted by a Licensed Psychiatrist or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and approved by a Behavioral Health-Managed Care Organization. A child and family might work with the following professionals, and receive the following services:

  • Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC)

  • Mobile Therapist (MT)

  • Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)

  • Evaluation, Assessment, and Medication Management
    Comprehensive Bio-Psychosocial Evaluations by a Licensed Psychologist or a Licensed Psychiatrist;
  • Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), conducted by specially credentialed personnel, is used to guide work with the child and caregivers.

    Medication Management provided by a Licensed Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to assess and provide pharmacological intervention in conjunction with BHRS.

Services are provided in two locations. Both have ample parking and are accessible by public transportation.
