We employ a range of techniques and security measures to protect the information maintained on our system from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. For example, we only allow authorized employees to have access to information collected through the Website and our employees are educated on and agree to adhere to the SS/MLS confidentiality policy as a condition of employment.
None of your payment information is stored or saved on the SS/MLS website or in SS/MLS databases. Donation history is stored in the SS/MLS secure donor database. All donations made through the SS/MLS website are processed immediately using a third party payments processor. All payment data is encrypted for further security. To our knowledge, the merchant bank that processes donations does not retain information about your payment after processing your donation.
Back to topSS/MLS processes gifts promptly. Should you change your mind about making a contribution to SS/MLS, please inform the SS/MLS Development Office as soon as possible. SS/MLS will provide refunds for contributions within 45 days of the date of the gift. Since SS/MLS does not retain credit card data once the gift is processed, you will have to supply your credit card information again in order for SS/MLS to process your refund request.
The Website is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and SS/MLS does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from such children. If you are younger than thirteen, please do not provide any personally identifiable information while using this website.
