Christmas Joy at Silver Springs - Martin Luther School!!Thanks to the many volunteers and donors who brought the Christmas spirit to the Silver Springs campus this holiday season! At the annual Christmas party, children in residence at Silver Springs each received a stack of presents, generously donated and lovingly wrapped. Hundreds of people responded to our wish list for the children, donating toys, stuffed animals, books, and wonderful and thoughtful items. The children received their gifts with exclamations and shouts of glee. Thank you for helping us to bring big smiles to so many little faces!

Chefs 2011 a Success!
The fourth Chefs for Silver Springs benefit dinner, held on Friday, November 18th, was a great success. More than 215 friends of Silver Springs gathered at the Philadelphia Marriott West in Conshohocken and wholeheartedly welcomed local chef and celebrity, Guillermo Tellez, Executive Chef at Square 1682 in Philadelphia. Chef Tellez presented a delicious five-course tasting menu, with paired wines. Guests bid on and won many fantastic, generously donated silent and live auction items, including tickets to sporting events, restaurant and hotel packages, a trip to Walt Disney World, and more! Many, many thanks to our event sponsors, guests, and all who helped to make the evening so enjoyable, and successful in raising critical funds to support the healing services that Silver Springs - Martin Luther School provides to children and families.
