Making a Gift
The
generosity of long-time friends and new donors plays a crucial
role at Silver Springs. We seek financial support for the children,
since they cannot ask for or represent themselves.
We try to capture community interest and philanthropic involvement for special capital projects, endowment support, school lunches, camperships and for celebrations of childhood joy.
Many of the items that we associate with childhood and may take for granted--such as "lunch money," birthday gifts and computers, even clothing and linens are not supported through the governmental funding that Silver Springs receives. We must rely upon the support of our friends.

Matching Gifts
Maximize your gift for children by making inquiries at work whether
your employer participates in a matching gift program.
United Way
If your place of employment conducts charity campaigns, you should
know that Silver Springs participates in the United Way Donor
Choice Program and the City Employees' Campaign. Ask your campaign
coordinator for a donor choice form. Please share the listed
donor choice numbers with your family and friends and ask them
to do the same.
